Your goal is my goal.
Clark Power is a proud native of Port Alberni with deep roots in the Valley — an intrinsic feel for the community, its people, and the ethos of hard work that built it. He earned his Real Estate License at twenty-three and has been building trust with clients ever since.
Goal-driven and collaborative, Clark aligns every step with what matters to you: attentive listening, market expertise, straightforward communication, and working with fellow Realtors when it serves the outcome. Four years as a licensed Mortgage Consultant give him financing fluency that deepens every conversation.
Beyond real estate, Clark works in Construction and Development as a Licensed BC Home Builder, with experience across projects and rezonings — a full view of how property works on Vancouver Island. His measure of success isn’t a plaque. It’s return business and referrals from clients who felt heard and well cared for.

Hard work, close to home.
Clark’s path was shaped by his father, Blaine Power — a skilled faller who taught the value of hard work and family support. That same commitment puts Clark’s wife Erin and son Blake first, surrounded by a close-knit family that reflects the inclusive, welcoming spirit of Port Alberni.
Inspired by his father’s hands-on approach, Clark fully renovated his own home — experience that gives him a sharper eye when assessing properties for clients. He also shares Blaine’s passion for drag racing: a 1970 Dodge Dart he’s raced with pride, and the ongoing restoration of his father’s original 1969 440 Hurst Barracuda.
Racing and real estate share the same lessons — take smart risks, learn by doing, and trust your skills when it counts.
Port Alberni on Vancouver Island
At the head of the Alberni Inlet — a fjord-like waterway opening to Barkley Sound and the Pacific — Port Alberni sits in the heart of Vancouver Island with roughly 18,000 residents, rich forest and mountain surrounds, and deep roots in logging, fishing, and Nuu-chah-nulth heritage.
It’s a place of trails and lakes, Salmon Festival weekends, Strathcona Provincial Park nearby, and day-trip access to Tofino, Ucluelet, and Pacific Rim. Mild maritime seasons, a lower cost of living than Victoria or Nanaimo, and a close-knit community make it a strong home base for families, retirees, and anyone who wants space without losing amenities.
Why people choose Port Alberni
Nature, community, and room to breathe — without the Island’s biggest price tags.
Outdoor Living
Hiking, fishing, kayaking, and mountain biking are part of daily life — forests, mountains, and waterways at your door.
More for Your Money
Compared with Victoria and other Island centres, housing and living costs leave room for space and lifestyle.
Community First
A small-city feel where neighbours know each other, local events matter, and the pace stays human.
Services Close By
West Coast General Hospital, schools, shops, and recreation — essentials without the big-city grind.
West Coast Access
Tofino, Ucluelet, and Pacific Rim are a short drive; Nanaimo and Victoria stay within easy Island reach.
Heritage & Culture
Nuu-chah-nulth history, the Alberni Valley Museum, McLean Mill, and a growing local arts scene.
